The GHC office will be closed from April 24th to May 5th.  If you need assistance prior to that time, please send an e-mail to communications@ghockey.net. 

GHC is currently accepting applications for coaches in our AAA program for the 2012/2013 season.  The application form can be accessed through the AAA tab to the left of the screen.

The Midget A Raptors came so close in the Provincial Championship this past weekend, losing in the final game to Red Deer by one goal!  Let us know how your team did this season.  Email communications@ghockey.net with your story and photo.

A hugh thank you to all coaches, assistance coaches, managers and the numerous volunteers who made the 2011-2012 season a success and good luck to those teams who continue to participate in playoffs or Provincials!

As we look forward to next year, we are in need of several new volunteers for the GHC Board.  Please consider becoming involved and helping out at the Board level.  Click here for the nomination form.  Nominations are due by May 22, 2012 and the Annual General Meeting will take place May 29, 2012 at ECTAS.  All members of the association are welcome.

Our final two Board meetings for this season are April 17th and May 14th.  Both will be held at ECTAS and start at 6:30.  Hope to see you there!

Arrangements have been made for the equipment drop off at the following dates and locations:

Monday April 9 at Maxbell from 630pm until 9pm for Bantam, Midget, Bantam AAA and Midget AAA.

Tuesday April 10 at ECTAS Blue from 630pm until 9pm for Novice, Atom and PeeWee.

We need all jerseys returned, washed and in numbered order hanging in the jersey bags. We need puck bags, first aid kits, coaches clipboard and pylons returned as checked out at the start of the season. As well as all goal equipment.

If there is any missing jerseys, please provide number, name and contact information.

Free admission to all GHC players or parents!  Come out and watch some great female hockey!  These games feature many athletes who will compete for Canada or the US at the next Olympics.  All games are at Winsport.

Mark your calendars for this exciting event to be held at the Crowchild Twin Arenas April 28th.  Entry fee is $50 which guarantees four 30-minute games.  This also includes lunch and a practice jersey!  Please call Corinne at the GHC office - 278-9223 - to register.  There are only 10 spots left so call today!
