Think Goalie Could Be for You?

Ever wondered what it’s like to be a hockey goalie?

Try Goalie is an exciting opportunity for U11 and U13 players to step into the crease, try on the equipment, and experience what it’s like to be a goaltender — all in a fun, supportive environment.

Whether your player is brand new to hockey or simply curious about trying something different, this event is a great way to experience the position without making a commitment to becoming a full-time goalie.

What to Expect

Participants will have the opportunity to:

  • Try out goalie equipment
  • Get on the ice and experience the crease
  • Learn some basic goaltending skills
  • Work with Calgary Fire goaltending coaches
  • Have fun while discovering a different side of the game

No previous goaltending experience or equipment required!

Come give it a try — you might discover your new favourite position.
