
U13AA Provincial Host Legacy Project – Female Official Reimbursement
As Provincial Hosts, U13AA Fire Black have dedicated their Provincial Legacy Project to supporting the Calgary hockey community. Any remaining funds from the 2025 Provincials will be used to reduce entry barriers for Female Officials by covering the cost of officiating courses for eligible participants. The objective of this initiative is to encourage the growth and development of female officials within Calgary.
ELIGIBILITY
Any member in Good Standing from U15-U18 in either Inferno or FIRE stream may apply.
- Must have successfully completed an Official Course between June 2025 and October 2025
- Must be a U15-U18 GHC Member (Inferno or FIRE)
- Must be a member in good standing
- Must submit a receipt for proof of purchase
SUBMISSION
Submissions will be accepted until midnight on, Wednesday, October 15th, 2025.
Deadline may be extended if funding is still available after initial deadline.
- Candidates are required to submit a Female Official Reimbursement Form
- Including copy of receipt of course.
SELECTION
- All submissions will be reviewed by committee to ensure eligibility.
- Candidates will have their HCR checked for Official Course (Level 1 or Level 2) completion.
- Member must be in good standing.
- Member must have registered and completed an Official Course (Level 1 or 2) within June 2025 – October 2025
- If the number of eligible members seeking selection is less than or equal to the fund amount available, those members will receive full reimbursement.
- If the number of eligible members seeking selection exceeds the fund amount available, committee will review all submissions and may use their discretion to either:
- Evenly distribute funds amongst all eligible members OR
- Select a number of eligible members to receive full reimbursement
