Help lead Alberta’s largest female hockey club as Vice President Administration/Treasurer on GHC’s Board of Directors.
ROLE SUMMARY
The VP Administration/Treasurer shall be responsible for financial transactions, accounts, budgets and audit procedures for the Association. This position works directly with the Hockey Administrative Manager and works closely with the Officers of the Board. This position reports to the President, and is a member of the Executive, Operations and Finance Committees.
JOB DESCRIPTION
TERM
Two (2) years with the possibility of two term renewals, up to six (6) years in total.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
- Accounting Designation (CPA)
- Managerial accounting experience and bookkeeping knowledge.
- Experience with QuickBooks Online
- Knowledge of non-profit accounting practices, non-profit tax laws and fiscal record keeping.
- High attention to detail and data integrity.
- Ability to collaborate and interact with many people.
