Good Evening GHC Families,

Earlier today, the Government of Alberta announced an unexpected change in youth sport restrictions under Step 1 of Alberta’s “A Path Forward.” Step 1 begins Monday, February 8, 2021.

Hockey Calgary and its Member Associations are getting clarification on these changes and will meet on Monday to review our options as a hockey community.

When our season was cancelled on February 3, GHC began work immediately on member refunds and optional Spring 2021 development programming. If there are any changes after Monday’s meeting we will let you know immediately.

Regardless of our next steps, please know that we are committed to you and your players and will always work to make the best of our season together. These disruptions and announcements can take a toll on all of us, please take care and stay safe.
