CALGARY FIRE U15 AA WHITE

Roberta spent many years playing minor hockey in Alberta, including at the “AAA” level in the former Alberta Major Midget Female Hockey League (AMMFHL), and for three different teams at the Jr.”A” level from 2011 to 2017 in the Alberta Junior Female Hockey League.

Roberta was previously part of the GHC family in 2017-18, when she was an assistant coach for the Calgary Fire Bantam AA White. She also has extensive coaching experience in several Hockey Alberta minor hockey programs, the Alberta Junior Female Hockey League and the Alberta Colleges Athletic Conference (ACAC).

In 2015, Roberta completed Hockey Alberta’s Future Leader Development Program, designed to train and mentor high-potential post-secondary students in the area of coaching. She was also one of eight future leaders invited to the Team Alberta U16 program that year in Camrose, AB to receive a second stage of coaching development along with the opportunity to work with Alberta’s best hockey athletes at the U16 level.

Roberta has a Master of Management from the University of Calgary and a BSc in Kinesiology from the University of Alberta (Augustana Campus), where she played soccer for the Augustana Vikings in the ACAC. Roberta also played Division I rugby with the Calgary Canadian Irish Athletic Club (CCIAC), and in 2014 was Head Coach for the Alberta Summer Games Zone 2 Rugby team and has also served as Head Coach of Cochrane High School Female Rugby team.
